The programme's up for this year's Jewish Book Week in February and it's a corker. In my experience, tickets sell out pretty fast, so get there quick.
My personal favourites: Tali Loewenthal and Rachel Elior on Jewish mysticism; Shlomo Avineri on Isaiah Berlin; The East End now and then and for a bit of light relief, Jonny Freedland and Matt Benyon Rees on writing thrillers.
But best of all: the people watching. Book Week is like shul without god; it's the people of the book talking and drinking coffee, buying books and arguing, and it's the best (Jewish / intellectual) fun you can have with your clothes on.
OK, there are other things. But not that many.
