Anecdotal Evidence
I keep hearing from frequent flier friends and short news clips (there was one on This Morning on the BBC today) about how UK airport security officials are terribly vigillant about removing nail scissors from passengers. BAA apparently remove 30,000 pairs daily.
Here's my question; I never realised until know that the majority of people can't go 5 - 10 hours without trimming their nails. Who knew? Think there's a global manicure conspiracy?
