It's the Hair Care Bunch
I think I mentioned before, I have hair somewhere on the curly-frizzy continuum?

There are a few secrets to having this kind of hair...
  • Use lots of what hairdressers call product. This gook makes the difference between a frizzy mess and some kind of defined curl

  • Never use a hairbrush

  • Condition your hair frequently, otherwise it just gets kinda matted: that dreadlock look is not a good one for me

  • Wash your hair every couple of days, to avoid the rasta dreads

  • I find, drying it naturally is better than a hairdryer

  • And when I can be bothered, I "twirl" for want of a better word, sections of hair together, so they dry as thick curls

  • Use a wide-toothed comb. Very wide

  • This is all a precursor to saying I had the most fantastic wide-toothed comb, that I think I've had since college, and I think my Mum might have bought it in a fifty pee shop in Manchester, but I've lost it. Last weekend, I think. To start off with, I thought I'd misplaced it, but the last sighting I remember was Sunday afternoon when I washed my hair. I am very slightly traumatised, my hair looks a wreck, and other "afro" combs - as they are disturbingly called - don't do it for me. If anyone knows where I can get one...
