Apparently, it's Labor Day. I have no idea what it is, except that I met S in town, between meetings, briefly for a coffe at lunchtime, and she was wearing a white suit. Told me that she was breaking all the US fashion rules; apparently, it's not OK to wear white after Labor Day. So now you know.
