Seen the Volkswagen 48-sheet poster? Where they "prove" how it's outlasted all those other twenty-five year old things like slinkies and lace gloves on red manicured hands? It all looks very realistic: until you notice that the manicure is an American style square/straight across manicure. We all know that in the eighties, we bizarrely had a penchant for shaping our nails into a deeply impractical rounded point.
